Agency starts to look different when it stops being something inside an individual and begins to appear in the relational space between agents. It’s the same intuition behind the way 3.999… and 4 collapse into the same value mathematically — no number exists between them — yet the mind still feels a gap. That strange interval where nothing exists but something is experienced feels like the real site of emergence. Your framing of networks as the locus of identity moves in that same territory.
